Navigating the holidays is already challenging, and even more so during a season of loss. Join us for In Memoriam, a poignant and heartfelt remembrance service where we’ll make space to grieve, reflect, and honor those who are no longer with us. Together, we’ll hold the sorrow of what we’ve lost along with the hope we can find in God’s promises and His enduring goodness.
Remembrance Memorial Gardens Walk
2–3 PM | Remembrance Memorial Gardens
Take a quiet walk through the beautiful Remembrance Memorial Gardens. Enjoy soft music and artwork as you reflect, remember, and make space for the memories of someone you love.
Please note, this is open house style, so you are welcome to explore and reflect at your own pace, taking as much or as little time as you’d like.
Remembrance Service
3–4 PM | Chapel
Join us in the Chapel for a meaningful service featuring music from singer-songwriter Lydia Laird and a message from Riverbend’s pastoral team.
Lydia’s music is rooted in honesty, vulnerability, and hope. Drawing from her own experiences with loss, uncertainty, and mental health, she creates space to acknowledge life’s difficult places while pointing toward the enduring hope and grace of God.
All are welcome to join for just the Gardens portion, just the Remembrance Service, or both.
