The Lighthouse
This free respite program is designed for family caregivers with loved ones living at home with dementia. Open to anyone in the community (not just Riverbend members), The Lighthouse provides meaningful programming with social stimulation and joyful activity, while offering a few hours of respite to caregivers.

If you are "trading places" with Mom or Dad in their later years, or caring for an aging spouse or family member, we invite you to join in this open forum with others on a similar journey. As a caregiver for an aging member of your family, you know how challenging it can feel to try and provide the best care possible while balancing your life. Riverbend has partnered with AGE of Central Texas to offer this FREE conference for caregivers where you’ll discover local resources, acquire skills to better manage common caregiving situations, and connect with national and local experts on aging.
