Angels Afoot: School Supply Drive
JUL 7, 14, & 21 | After each service | the Plaza & Home For Hope entrances
During the month of July, you can help kids in need by purchasing backpacks to fill with school supplies. Return the backpack with supplies the following Sunday. Most of the backpacks that we have purhased, are made by our very own Siloe folks. The money that is raised will go toward the El Salvador children, while the supplies will go to Austin children at Travis Heights and Proyecto Esperanza (East Austin NDC) in August.
There will tables of volunteers out on the plaza all three Sundays, after each service to assist you
Cost: You can purchase a backpack for $25 or just donate $50 and we will do the shopping for you
To fill a backpack:
Glue, white liquid, 8 oz.
Supply box / pencil pouch
24 Pencils, No. 2
Ruler, 12" dual scale metric & conventional
Notebook paper, 5/16" wide ruled
3 glue sticks
3 Red pencils
12 Colored pencils
Markers, 10 pack
3 wire bound notebooks
