Men's Mexico Missions Trip

Saturday, DEC 1 – Sunday, DEC 2

Join Pastor Norm and Pastor Aaron as they drive to Piedras Negras, Mexico to work with a special needs orphanage as well as refugees seeking asylum from other countries.

The group leaves on Saturday, December 1st and returns on Sunday, December 2nd.

Cost: $150.00 (includes accommodations/food/transportation)

Registration for this trip is full! If you’d like more information about future Men’s Mission Trips, contact Patricia Roy.

Purpose: to come alongside of the Hands & Feet Ministry in Piedras Negras, exploring opportunities for our men’s ministry to serve cross-culturally in this border town in Mexico.

  • Play ball, use coloring books, and interact with the special needs kids and adults in the only special needs orphanage in northern Mexico.

  • Building relationships at the Immigrant Home – a center for people fleeing persecution in Cuba, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, the Congo, Vietnam, Cambodia and more, preparing a meal for them and learning more about their stories.

  • Visit and explore what might be done at the Nava Elementary School for the K-6th grade students.

We’ll sleep in Hands & Feet’s dorm room, that has A/C, heat, hot showers.  We’ll drive down in 1-2 vehicles, departing at 6:00 am on Saturday Dec 1, and return to Austin about 8:00 pm on Sunday night.

We’ll have three interpreters to help us with the language issues.  Looking for 4-6 men to join Pastors Norm Schoenfeld and Aaron Foor on this exploratory trip.
