On Campus

We are in the process of beginning some recycling programs on campus. Currently we recycle paper in the Paper Retriever. This is free to Riverbend and our youth get some funds from the paper recycling company based on our volume. You can do your part by recycling your paper in our bin and by using the receptacles on our campus.

Plastic and metal recycling are costly to the church from a time and money perspective. It costs extra to recycle and it costs time to collect. We are working on ways to reduce those costs. Volunteer help for collection and some sorting, would be beneficial in moving us to greater sustainability and environmental friendliness.

You can help us by turning off lights, closing doors, reporting drips in the plumbing, and by bringing your own water bottles and coffee mugs to church.
