We work with Mobile Loaves & Fishes
to provide food and clothing for the homeless, and poor, throughout Austin. We use our Riverbend-owned and volunteer-staffed, food truck stocked with food and necessities provided by friends, local
business donors and members of Riverbend. To sign up to serve in November Click Here (To drive the truck , one must be trained) Click Here to get trained. To see a list of current needs click here. For a fuller picture of what we do and what you could do Click Here

NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT - Rundberg
One of our goals is to help local communities generate self-sustaining spiritual,
economic, and social health. We support Heaven’s Harvest food pantry at North Austin Christian Church. We serve alongside them in their community by volunteering in the pantry, praying, encouraging the men and women, and supporting their outreach efforts. For current information on acceptable donations Click Here.
We are sponsoring a Christmas Store - In Rundberg - December 12. If you want to help, click here >
We are also supporting New Beginnings in the Galewood/Payton Gin area of Rundberg. Check out our Facebook page for photos from some of the previous events.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
We assist local communities by building and renovating houses resulting in decent homes, in made-better communities. The dual objective is to create an environment where every person – those serving and being served - can experience God’s love,
and live and grow into all that God intends. Help us build again in the fall: donate here and designate Habitat.
(Must be 16 to work on site.)
There is a core group of individuals who are training with FEMA, Red Cross, Texas Disaster Response and Austin Disaster Relief Network
to qualify as first-response volunteers. These men & women will help coordinate response, relief, and restoration for those impacted by natural and man-made disasters. Training is available year-round for those interested in serving the community - or preparing their families when disaster strikes.

SCHOOLS and Children
We look for opportunities to serve alongside local schools - encouraging and working with them to help our children have the necessary resources they need. Each year we find different ways to care for the community, bless the schools, and honor the committed efforts of staff, faculty, students, and families. You can contribute anytime online and designate "School Supplies". We use these funds to help the schools serve the commmunity.
KIDS IN MISSIONS
Little Pebbles is an effort to bring serving opportunities directly to Riverbend’s children. In a variety of ways, and in a way that respects their developmental level and skills, we strive to foster their desire to serve others, and to provide them service projects that are not only fun, but meaningful.
Each November the members and friends of Riverbend buy gifts to make Christmas a little better for thousands of disadvantaged children throughout the greater Austin area. Through our efforts in 2014 nearly 3000 kids were served in Austin and El Salvador. More Info HERE
