Community Groups @ Riverbend

What are Community Groups?

Riverbend Church is more than a collection of great programs.  We are first and foremost a diverse community seeking to follow Jesus.  We believe that a life of faith in Jesus can’t be fully lived out unless it is lived out in authentic community with others.  Therefore, we have designed Community Groups to be mid-sized groups organized around: 1) similar ages and stages doing life together, 2) topical Bible studies, and 3) service groups engaging the world with God’s love.

purpose of community groups

For your convenience, most of our Community Groups meet on Sunday mornings during either the 9:45 or 11:15AM services. We like to think of our Sunday mornings as a two-hour experience in which you can attend a Community Group that fits you, and one of our worship services.

If you’re ready to jump in and start connecting with others here at Riverbend Church, all you need to do is find a group that you’re interested in and show up. It’s that simple! You can find the full listing of all our community groups below.

If you’re unsure which group is the best fit for you, or have questions about how community groups work at Riverbend, we are more than happy to help answer your questions and find the group that is right for you. Stop by the Involvement Center out on the plaza on any Sunday and one of our team members will be able to answer your questions and connect you to a group.
