Riverbend
Membership Status

The
following are the two steps required to be a member of the Riverbend
Church family:
I.
Signing of an Individual Commitment Card. The cards are
available at Inside Riverbend and/or at the Membership Orientation.
Signing this card designates you as a 'Member in Transition."
The commitments required to attain membership status are:

To
put Jesus Christ at the center of your life as Savior and Lord.
- To
support and model Riverbend's Mission of Reclamation, Restoration
and Reproduction in the church and in the world.
- To
regularly attend Sunday morning worship and the New Members
class (a.k.a. Membership Orientation).
- To
give regularly and proportionately the first part of your income
to the cause of Christ through Riverbend.
- To
invite others to join us in worship at Riverbend.
II.
The
final step of attaining membership status
with the Riverbend Church family is to attend the Membership Seminar,
a three hour session about Riverbend Church ministries. "Members
in Transition" are not considered members until both steps are completed.
"Members in Transition" who want their status advanced to "member"
but who are unable to complete the above two steps must contact
the Director of the Membership Involvement Ministry for personal
appointment regarding their desired membership status.
